Salvatore Cavallaro – Guida Vulcanologica 24/06
Etna, UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the wonders that Sicily offers to the millions of visitors who discover this land every year. It stands on the Ionian Sea with its 3326 meters, between the cities of Catania and Taormina. Ideal destination for an experience surrounded by nature between an archaeological visit and tasting a granita in the squares of the historic centers. Rich in beauties and particularities that few places in the world grant, it gives every year fireworks, sometimes visible even overseas.
“Most of all I like Sicily, but only from the top of Etna, in the light, as long as I can dominate the island and the sea.” (La Chute – A. Camus)
They say about our excursions on Etna;
“Yesterday we were guided along the slopes of Mount Etna by the wonderful guide Salvo. It was a magical experience for two Aussie girls! Salvo’s knowledge and ability to explain the history of the Mountain and it’s eruptions was just great. The weather was perfect and we loved every minute of it. I would highly recommend it!”

“Salvatore est un super guide. Il donne des explications sur le volcan mais pas seulement également la faune la flore et la culture sicilienne. De plus il s’adapte gentiment au rythme de chacun. L’excursion est magnifique. Bravo et merci”– Ghislaine Granier
